Unlocking the secrets of human tooth: where beauty meets bite!

Premolars, also called bicuspids, are located behind the canines. There are usually four premolars in each jaw (first premolars and second premolars). Premolars have two cusps and assist in grinding and crushing food.

Molars are the largest and strongest teeth at the back of the mouth. They have broad, flat surfaces with multiple cusps. Adults typically have 12 molars (six in each jaw). The first and second molars are permanent teeth, while the third molars, commonly known as wisdom teeth, may or may not develop fully or erupt.

These are the front teeth in the upper and lower jaws. There are four incisors in each jaw (central incisors and lateral incisors). They are used for cutting and biting into food.

Also known as cuspids or eye teeth, canines are the sharp, pointed teeth located on either side of the incisors. There are two canines in each jaw. Canines are used for tearing and grasping food.
These are the first set of teeth that develop in infants and are eventually replaced by permanent teeth. There are a total of 20 primary teeth, including incisors, canines, and molars.
These are the adult teeth that replace the primary teeth. They include incisors, canines, premolars, and molars. There are 32 permanent teeth in total, although some individuals may have fewer if they have had wisdom teeth extracted.
